Island Sting

Author Bonnie Doerr is in the Keys this month and is sharing her newly published book, Island Sting with students in Monroe County Schools, FKCC, members of the Key West Wildlife Center and the National Key Deer Refuge. Her new book is an eco-discovery teen reader focused in the Keys. Bonnie was in our library on Tuesday evening where she taught students about writing styles, formatting, and answered questions from the students of professor Pat Silcox's class and others attending the evening program. Students throughout our schools submitted their art work and selected pieces are on display at the FKCC Library.
